Acerca del evento

We are planning a weekend retreat with world renowned ozone/oxidation therapy expert Dr. Robert Rowen. He plans two morning sessions for participants. He will teach and demonstrate all aspects of ozone therapy that can be done at home, and demonstrate and teach the manufacture and uses of ozonated glycerin.

The goal is to help people stay healthy and young -and out of any doctor’s office. In addition, he may be available to do personal evaluations for occult dental infections and other “interference fields” which can block healing and create quite mysterious symptoms.

This is a unique opportunity to have an intimate session of learning with one of the world’s most foremost integrative healers.

Robert Jay Rowen, M.D., is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Johns Hopkins University and the University of California San Francisco School of Medicine, acquiring double board certifications (and recertifications) in Family Practice, in Emergency Medicine, and additionally in Clinical Metal Toxicology.

Please note that he does not hold an active California medical license at this time. He sees his role as education and disseminating knowledge and information to keep you healthy, young, and out of the doctor's office.

Dr. Rowen began using ozone therapy in 1986 and is the longest continuous user of ozone and oxidation therapies in North America.

Dr. Rowen is affectionately known as “The Father of Medical Freedom” for pioneering the nation’s first statutory protection for alternative medicine in 1990. Two years later, Alaska’s governor Hickel appointed him to a term on the Alaska State Medical Board and the appointment survived a legislative battle sponsored by organized medicine due to overwhelming public support.

He is internationally known for his clinical practice and teaching in oxidation medicine. He was the Oxidation Workshop chairman for ACAM, and teaches oxidation to interested professionals in hands-on sessions quarterly in his office. He was editor-in-chief of the highly respected Second Opinion Newsletter from 2000 until August 2014.

In October 2014, he traveled to Sierra Leone to bring ozone therapy to the Ebola epidemic. He reported on a 100% recovery of Ebola 5 patients. He has repeatedly published on oxidation therapy in peer review journals, presenting novel case reports, ozone review articles, and medical political issue.

Movement and Restoration to Complement Your Learning

Dr. Rowen’s two morning teaching sessions are the centerpiece of this weekend retreat. To complement those sessions, gentle guided movement will be available each day, along with time to rest, enjoy nature, and gather over a thoughtfully prepared catered meal.

Daily Movement: Space to Pause and Integrate

Movement sessions offer a welcoming opportunity to stretch, settle, and reconnect with your body before or after focused learning. Through gentle movement, comfortable breathing, and guided awareness, participants can explore simple ways to find greater ease in everyday activities.

These sessions support the retreat‘s rhythm, giving students time to pause, reflect, and return to learning refreshed. You’ll be invited to notice habitual tension, explore comfortable movement, and discover practices you may wish to continue at home.

All movement sessions are optional. No prior movement experience is needed, and participants are encouraged to work within their comfort and abilities.

A Setting That Invites You to Slow Down

Set on a spiritual, ecological permaculture homestead embraced by old-growth forest, flowing streams, and untouched wilderness, this retreat offers a sanctuary for learning and restoration.

Away from cellphone reception and the glow of city lights, there is room to listen more closely—to the forest, to one another, and to yourself. Mornings invite quiet reflection; time between sessions allows for wandering, resting, and absorbing what you’ve learned. Beneath vast, star-filled skies, you can reconnect with the rhythms of your body and the land.

Staying on the property makes these quieter moments part of your retreat: waking to birdsong, spending unhurried time outdoors, and settling into the evening without a drive home. The surroundings offer space to step away from everyday demands and give your attention to learning, connection, and rest.

The Weekend Experience

Friday evening — Arrive and settle in

Get acquainted with the homestead and enjoy an optional gentle movement session to unwind from travel. Take time to settle into your cabin and experience the quiet of the forest.

Saturday — Learn, reflect, and restore

Spend the morning learning with Dr. Rowen. Outside the teaching session, enjoy optional yoga or guided movement, quiet reflection, and time to explore the property or simply rest.

Sunday — Continue learning and take it home

Join Dr. Rowen for the second morning teaching session. A short, optional movement practice offers another opportunity to explore ease and body awareness before the retreat concludes at noon.

During the weekend, a thoughtfully prepared catered meal provides time to relax, connect with fellow participants, and continue the conversation.

About Daily Movement:

Learning Through the Body

Alongside Dr. Rowen’s two morning teaching sessions, daily guided movement offers a personal, practical exploration of how we move, sense, and respond to life. These gentle lessons invite you to discover the relationship between physical habits, attention, and your experience of comfort and ease.

Bringing the learning into daily life

These sessions complement Dr. Rowen’s teaching by giving participants time to explore their own experience, reflect, and return to learning refreshed. You may discover a more comfortable way to sit, stand, walk, or breathe—and a greater ability to recognize what your body needs.

Surrounded by old-growth forest, flowing streams, and the quiet of the homestead, this exploration can continue beyond the movement session: during an unhurried walk, a peaceful moment outside your cabin, or an evening beneath the stars.

All sessions are optional. No previous movement experience is needed. Participants are encouraged to stay within a comfortable range, rest whenever needed, and approach each lesson with curiosity.

How it works:

Daily Movement: Awaken Your Capacity to Learn

Complementing Dr. Rowen’s morning teachings, gentle guided movement explores neuroplasticity—the brain’s lifelong capacity to adapt and learn through experience. By varying familiar movements and noticing subtle differences, you invite new ways of moving with greater coordination, comfort, and ease.

Discover habitual tension, explore more comfortable breathing, and practice responding with awareness. Each session offers discoveries that will help you return to the teaching sessions refreshed and ready to learn;  discoveries to carry into daily life—and into peaceful walks through the surrounding forest.

All sessions are optional. No experience needed—move at your own pace and let curiosity guide you.

The brain: discovering new possibilities

Conscious movement gives us a direct way to explore learning. As you slowly turn, reach, or shift your weight, you can notice how different parts of your body work together. Small variations invite you to compare possibilities: Where am I using more effort than I need? What happens when I move a little differently?

This approach draws on the brain’s capacity to learn through experience. With attention and practice, familiar actions can become more coordinated and comfortable. The emphasis is on curiosity, allowing each person to discover useful changes at their own pace.

The nervous system: awareness, ease, and choice

Many of our everyday habits happen outside our awareness—a tightened jaw, held breath, raised shoulders, or the tendency to brace before moving. Gentle exploration brings these patterns into focus and offers opportunities to experiment with a different response.

With comfortable movement, pauses, and attention to breathing, participants are invited to recognize unnecessary effort and explore a more settled way of being. The intention is to cultivate awareness you can carry into daily life: noticing when you are straining, recognizing when you need rest, and finding more comfortable ways to meet everyday demands.

Stress and the immune system: understanding the connection

The nervous and immune systems communicate through complex pathways, including stress hormones. Persistent stress can disrupt immune regulation. Practices that help us manage stress are therefore relevant to our overall wellbeing.

Here, movement offers an opportunity to practice awareness, relaxation, and attentive self-care. Its role is to support wellbeing;
